In an effort to highlight opportunities to find locally made art, gifts and crafts, I am posting information on Mount Washington and nearby craft fairs as I hear about them.  These are all coming to me by way of connections between the fairs and the Mount Washington community.

Looking for that one-of-a kind gift?  The Park School’s fifth annual Craft Fair includes handmade work for every budget, including jewelry, ceramics, note cards, hats, scarves, decorative glass items, wood, photography and more.  Exhibitors are all talented members of the Park community. The Fair will be held on Thursday, December 3 from 3:30-7pm in the Davison Lobby.  Admission is free.  Refreshments will also be available.

Park School is located at 2425 Old Court Road between Falls Road and Greenspring Avenue.  For more information, contact 410-339-4145 or  pa@parkschool.net.

Thanks for posting about the Park School craft fair. I wanted to let you know about a couple of opportunities to buy from talented Mt. Washington residents:

Laura Laing has wonderful barrettes and dresses for sale in her Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/nostrings?page=1

Shana Kroiz and the Facets collective has a jewelry shop coming up on December 5-6 from 10 to 4 in the Woodland Room of the Radison Hotel at Cross Keys
